Our Mission | Our Purpose

K9 and Bridgers is built on these fundamentals; the healthy lifestyles of people and the rescue of animals that cannot fend for themselves.

1.

We provide a safe and encouring space to provide physical training, meal plans, transformation plans and various other supplements and health products.

2.

We offer a convenient and trusted platform to provide online training, adivce and other services through our website and other social media.

3.

We use our training and fitness platforms to provide support and rescue to animals in need. We provide food, free medical checkups, sterilizations and more.

Our Vision

Looking to the future our main goal is to build our own fitness facility that will accommodate dogs in need of a second chance. Through our online platform and facility we aim to be a self funded rescue centre.

Our Mission

We make claiming your health back that much simpler. A trusted online platform where you can get fully customised training and meal plans to help you transform, get healthy, strong and confident.

We the rescue team at K9 & Bridger’s are seeking to change the way people see and act towards our furry friends. This organisation is aiming to reduce violence in communities, help the voiceless and create a better life for ALL animals in our province.

We believe whole hearted sterilisation and will fund and support as many sterilisation as we possibly can.

We seeking to change the WHOLE entire system on rescue from the laws that say our animals ARE PROPERTY to the people who allow and facilitate violence on the voiceless.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

This organisation is going to be built on the foundation and promise that:

  • No task is too small or too large for our team to complete.
  • No animal in our care will ever go hungry, live in a worse condition or have to go back to a life of pain and suffering.
  • All organisations that lie – I will take you down.
  • All organisations that abuse the trust of the community and extort – I will take you down.
  • All PEOPLE that fight, steal and abuse animals – I will take you down.

Shane Bridger

Personal trainer Growing up I was influenced through consistent bullying in primary school and a while in highschool too.

Mainly because I was “bigger” than other kids. I was introduced to the gym at the age of 14 by my mom and I can wholeheartedly say I had never found something that made me so happy. Over the next two years to 16 my transformation was well underway and I was for the first time, confident within myself.

Playing sports, participating in events and making new friends was no longer an issue. Fast forward 9 years, at 25 I firmly believe I sculpted who I am today, physically and emotionally through my training. I overcame huge mental and psychological battles through the discipline of bodybuilding, ultimately sculpting my career.

Over the years I’ve made dozens of mistakes through training and diet and I’ve learned and grown from each and every one. I have perfected injury prevention and rehabilitation training styles through years of my own injuries.

Now – I’d like to share that with the world. I became a personal trainer because I want to help people, help them to achieve the same mental and physical success I did. Nothing beat crushing your goals everyday.

From a young age animals have been a big part of my life.

I was always that kid who would much rather roll in the mud with pigs than play with 2 legged friends. I was always the kid to be in the playing pen at the pet store even though the sign said “please don’t climb into the playing pen.

” No life is too small, every little creature and being deserves a fighting chance- I want to be that for them. I acknowledge that this is not a glamorous job but this is what my purpose is in life.

My passion has grown into a burning sensation to change the world our animals live in . You may say I cannot, it’s impossible that it cannot be done but I am telling you that you are wrong.

I WILL, I CAN and I AM BUSY doing it so if you would like to join in on my crazy journey please do, I would love to hear from you.

How to donate & get involved

When it comes to rescue we at the K9 & Bridger’s training and rescue team are physically involved within our local communities in need. Animals are in need everywhere and it takes a village to support just the ones around us.

Through our personal training offerings we aim to fund many of our projects, therefore yes, your transformation will definitely pay it forward by helping an animal that cannot help themselves.

For this reason we don’t ask for monetary donations as a staple, if you want to, we would be eternally grateful however physical donations will make our job a little easier. Have a look at our donations list and you’ll see just what we need:

  • Dog food & cat food (Montego is our preferred brand for dogs/puppies with good balancing between price and nutritional value and Monty & Me for Cats/Kittens.
  • Leashes and collars (please no chains)
  • Dewormer – (Dog, Cat, Kitten, Puppy)
  • Animal treats
  • F10 (Disinfectant)
